Expendables wins weekend with $34.8M debut




LOS ANGELES – Sylvester Stallone's action romp "The Expendables" has captured the No. 1 spot at the weekend box office with a $34.8 million debut.

Opening a solid No. 2 with $23.1 million was Julia Roberts' globe-trotting drama "Eat Pray Love."
