Motzy Says…
“Man, I can vividly recall being younger and hearing a guy and a girl collaborate on a song. I genuinely believed they were in a romantic relationship. However, as I grew older, I realized they were simply exceptional collaborations between a male and a female artist.
The melodies and harmonies they created together made the song feel like we were witnessing a genuine relationship unfold in musical form. I often find myself pondering the creation of these songs, considering whose idea it was, who produced it, and what compelled the two artists to collaborate. They conveyed emotions through these songs, regardless of whether they dealt with love, hardships, or breakups.
These songs resonated deeply with me, prompting me to reflect on my own past relationships. I questioned my choices, wondering how I could have improved things and whether the relationships were truly worth it. With this playlist titled “Singing Like A Couple,” I aimed to compile songs that evoke a wide range of relationship compelled emotions.”
