As told by Brandson himself...
My goverment is Brandon Johnson, most people know me as Brandson – Da – Great which is generated from my first and last name put together. I was born and raised in Harlem NY. As a child my parents relocated to Albany NY so I’ve seen the best of both sides of NY State. I started rapping at 12 years of age. My interest in rapping came about by me watching my older cousin and his rap group F.L.A I really started to take rap serious when I was in trouble with the law and facing 8 years in prison. Luckily through the grace of god he blessed me and I went to trial and won my case. As a young African American male growing up in Harlem I wrote my first 16 bars when I was in the sixth grade and I’ve been true to the rap game ever since. I also started a record label named Yellow Tape Music Entertainment with my childhood friend Alphonzo A.K.A Absolute/ AO. Starting this record label has introduced us to many talented local artists; in October 2009 we signed our first artist Gregory A.K.A Fame. We are here to take this game over and to take this rap game by storm while keeping god and our families first. Be on the look out for the Ground Zero Mixtape Dropping Soon!!!
