Virginia Based Hip Hop group U.R.L. (Understanding Real Life) is slowly building a healthy buzz for themselves in the Hampton Roads area. Making their first group debut under Locals’ favorite, Shaggy’s (Z104 radio) Music Expo this past summer, they have begun networking and building relationships with other local artists and potential fans alike. Members include Flaco YLE, the brains, Besus, the MVP, SwaggaMel, the deep one and Scary, the mysterious yet crazy.
Currently wrapping up their first group mixtape simply entitled “Dress Rehearsal” and working on music videos, promotions, live performances as well as their own individual projects, the group is definitely on the way to becoming a common name for the music heads of DMV going into 2011.
