Released on April 13th, 2007, this mixtape was delayed because Lil Wayne wanted to add more songs. This was a double disc of a bunch of dope remixes. Revered as the best of the trilogy, the flows, metaphors and pockets that he was rapping on these beats were probably some of the best freestyles at that time. This cemented Lil Wayne as "The Best Rapper Alive" during that period. With standout tracks like "Upgrade (Freestyle)", "Dough Is What I Got", "King Kong", "Black Republicans" with Juelz Santana, "Dipset" and “Crazy”, there was nobody on his level at that time. With a platform like DatPiff having it first, I can almost bet the fans probably crashed the servers and website when this dropped. With our new series, Class Mixtape Run, we are here to bring that feel back like it was 07 all over again! On behalf of Internet Archives' Hip-Hop Mixtapes section, listen to it below!
