Classic Mixtape Run: Cam'ron - Public Enemy #1

One of the few double-disc mixtapes in existence, Public Enemy #1 released in November of 2007 around the time of the beef with 50 Cent and some personal friction within his own crew. Most would say it was a chaotic time for KiIla but he made the best of it by releasing this project for FREE which was 38 tracks and over 2 hours of pure heat. This gave us that hustler/street Cam but was also witty and humorous at the same time. Showcasing co-affiliated Dipset members like Hell Rell, 40 Cal, J.R. Writer and Tom Gist, this also had a rapper by the name of Penz all over the 2nd Disc who Cam was pushing at the time as his latest protege. Songs like "Fit For The Grind 2" produced by AraabMuzik was a banger but you also couldn't resist listening to "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", "Swagga Talk" and "Callete". This was one of the projects we're Cam truly showcased how defiant he was against his rivals. With our new series, Class Mixtape Run, we are here to bring that feel back like it was 07 all over again! On behalf of Spotify, listen to it below!
