Released on August 1, 2013, this mixtape was hosted by Trap-A Holics, DJ Victoriouz, and DJ Holiday, featuring Ca$hout, Rich Homie Quan, Migos, Tasha Catour, Syaridakid, Bambino Bold & T Mack, D Dash, Lil Mouse, Cap1 & Dolla Boy, Yung Tone & Young Cooley, and Levi Leer. This project officially launched Rich the Kid’s career. It was considered his formal introduction to the music industry and led to his signing with the Atlanta-based Quality Control label. Rich used this mixtape to establish his “Plug” persona—a guy with connections, jewelry, and a high-energy flow. Songs like “Millionaire” set the tone for his “flexing,” “Flying High” showcases the chemistry between him and the Migos, and “My Swag” is an early example of the triplet flow that would eventually dominate the charts. With producers like Zaytoven and K.E. on the track, providing fast-paced, bass-heavy production that emphasizes vibe, catchiness, and “ad-lib” mastery, the mixtape delivers a melodic, bouncy trap sound. Surprisingly, we started promoting him back in 2010, even before his fame, when he used to go by Blackboy Da Kid.
